VORTEX is Sibyl Vane’s new studio album and their most conceptual and personal work to date. It is not simply a collection of songs, but a complete world — a reflection of a state of being shaped by the idea that the modern world is full of invisible vortices: environments, relationships and fears that pull us in, yet hold us back from moving forward. It is about finding ways to pass through them.

Sonically, VORTEX is the band’s most diverse and vocally driven album so far. Alongside their guitar-based sound, synthesisers and electronic elements come into play, while the arrangements place the band’s vocalist Helena Randlaht at the centre — highlighting the nuances and emotional depth of her distinctive voice.
